The Un-veiled Priestly Version of the Story of Osiris
The Un-veiled Priestly Version of the Story of Osiris  *As Moses would have learned as a prince of Egypt The original form of the myth states that Osiris was killed in a wooden sarcophagus [coffin] secretly being made to his measurements, and then a party held where the coffin was offered to whoever it fitted. A few people tried to fit in, but to no avail, until Osiris was encouraged to try, who, as soon as he lay back, had the lid slammed on him and it sealed closed.

"Vitriol is a very noble mineral among the rest, and was held always in highest estimation by philosophers, because the Most High God has adorned it with wonderful gifts. They have veiled its arcanum in enigmatical figures like the following: "Thou shalt go to the inner parts of the earth, and by rectification thou shalt find the occult stone, a true medicine". By the earth they understood the Vitriol itself; and by the inner parts of the earth its sweetness and redness, because in the occult

"A certain matter rises out of the philosophical earth, as if it were a thicket of branches and sprouts: like a sponge growing on the earth. They say, therefore, that the fruit of their tree tends towards heaven." -Paracelsus

    Ancient Secrets III
"The Arabs and Greeks, by the occult characters and hieroglyphic descriptions of the Persians and the Egyptians, attained to secret and abstruse mysteries. When these were obtained and partially understood they saw with their own eyes, in the course of experimenting, many wonderful and strange effects. But since the supercelestial operations lay more deeply hidden than their capacity could penetrate, they did not call this a supercelestial arcanum according to the institution of the Magi, but

    Ancient Secrets II
"Many persons have endeavoured to investigate and make use of the secret magic of these wise men; but it has not yet been accomplished. Many even of our own age exalt Trithemius, others Bacon and Agrippa, for magic and the cabala ' two things apparently quite distinct ' not knowing why they do so. Magic, indeed, is an art and faculty whereby the elementary bodies, their fruits, properties, virtues, and hidden operations are comprehended. But the cabala, by a subtle understanding of the

    Ancient Secrets I
"The Chaldeans, Persians, and Egyptians had all of them the same knowledge of the secrets of Nature, and also the same religion. It was only the names that differed. The Chaldeans and Persians called their doctrine Sophia and Magic; and the Egyptians, because of the sacrifice, called their wisdom priestcraft. The magic of the Persians, and the theology of the Egyptians, were both of them taught in the schools of old. Though there were many schools and learned men in Arabia, Africa, and Greece,

Knights Hospitaller Chapel and the Holy Grail Mushroom
As you follow the little grass trail you come across a little Romanesque chapel of Plaincourault, which was founded between 1110 and 1120 by knights Hospitalers of St-John of Jerusalem. It has been made famous by it's strange frescos, particularly the one with Adam and Eve flanking the Tree of Knowledge, which is none other than an Amanita Muscaria mushroom (commonly known as the Fly Agaric).

Psychedelics of the Bible and the Sacred Acacia
There is so much information regarding mushroom symbolism and its importance in the origins of religion, but I haven't seen too much regarding Acacia. Considering the genus of Acacia contains mescaline, amphetamines, Bufotenin, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, NMT, β-carbolines, Tetrahydroharman, and MAOI's (according to wikipedia), it seems a pretty good candidate to be passed down through the ages as an important symbol.

Osiris the God of Death and Regeneration
"Osiris is an Egyptian god, identified as the god of the afterlife, the underworld, and the dead, but more appropriately as the god of transition, resurrection, and regeneration. He was classically depicted as a green-skinned deity with a pharaoh's beard, partially mummy-wrapped at the legs, wearing a distinctive crown with two large ostrich feathers at either side, and holding a symbolic crook and flail."

    El Dorado the Golden Teacher
I have been studying the lives of some enigmatic explorers and their search for the Grail, the Fountain of Youth, El Dorado, and even Shambhala. Ponce de Leon lead me to the Fountain of Youth and eventually from there I discovered other connections which eventually lead me to El Dorado.

The Forbidden Fruit and the True Holy Grail of the Knights Hospitaller
A fresco in the 13th-century Plaincourault Abbey in France depicts Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, flanking a Tree of Knowledge that has the appearance of a gigantic Amanita muscaria, a psychoactive mushroom. Terence McKenna proposed that the forbidden fruit was a reference to psychotropic plants and fungi, specifically psilocybin mushrooms, which played a central role, he theorized, in the evolution of the human brain. Earlier, in a well-documented and heavily criticized study, John M.

The Secrets of the Church and the Serapeum Codices
The Serapeum Codices    The Library of Alexandria has been pursuing an ancient pagan / church secret, our Head Librarians and our Explorers Society has been acquiring and translating ancient documents, the greatest of which are known as the Serapeum Codices (a collection of manuscripts identified by the Greek priests during the Great Schism). Until now we have kept our research highly secretive due to its nature, and also the nature of work that went into acquiring some of the texts hasn’t

    The Library of Alexandria
The Royal Library of Alexandria or Ancient Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. It was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts. The library was part of a larger research institution called the Musaeum of Alexandria, where many of the most famous thinkers of the ancient world studied. Aside from its incredible collection of ancient texts (which are estimated to range from 40,000 to 400,000 at its

    The Sacred Secrets of Jesus
"Very rarely, and then only for urgent practical purposes, were those secrets ever committed to writing. Normally they would be passed from the priest to the initiate by word of mouth; dependent for their accurate transmission on the trained memories of men dedicated to the learning and recitation of their "scriptures". But if for some drastic reason like the disruption of their cultic centres by war or persecution, it became necessary to write down the precious names of the herbs and the manner

Soma the Food of the Gods
"The Indo-Europeans were a nomadic people whose original home has been a matter of scholarly debate and who are associated with patriarchy, wheeled chariots, and the domestication of the horse. Also associated with the Indo-Europeans is a religion based on the magnificently intoxicating Soma. Soma was a juice or sap pressed out of the swollen fibers of a plant that was also called Soma. The texts seem to imply that the juice was purified by being poured through a woolen filter and then in some

    Liberation Through Gnosis
The central teaching of most religions is the essential experience of renunciation, salvation or liberation of the soul from the bondage of time, space, and matter. The need to liberate the spirit of man from this world, in which he is inadvertently bound or cast out into, is no doubt the most prevalent theme in religious texts...

    Other Ancient Egyptian Creation Myths
Following the Heliopolitan ancient Egyptian creation myth, the priesthood in Memphis neatly rebutted the claims that Atum was the creator by claiming that Ptah used Atum as his agent of creation. The creation myth of the Memphis priesthood differed that of Heliopolis, according to them eight original beings (offten depicted as frogs or serpents) deposited on an island an egg out of which the Sun god emerged to begin the work of creation, by the power of his magical word (once again we can see

    Ancient Egyptian Creation Myths
Although the ancient Egyptians where not primarily concerned with the creation of the world and men, some references to creation do exist in the Pyramid Texts, which dealt more with the destiny after death of the pharaohs of Egypt. The priests of Heliopolis composed the texts around 2500 BCE. incorporating the traditions about their god Atum, who was a rather mysterious deity who was also identified with the Sun god Re under a composite title Atum-Re (the Hidden Light). Various passages in the
